As a rapidly developing economy, India has rich foreign exchange reserves and increasing market demands in recent years. In the year of 2008, the total trade value of India reached USD 470.88 billion, covering an increase of 29%. The bilateral trade between China and India has rapidly developed as well, reaching a total trade value of USD 40.74 billion and increasing by 19.3% than last year. China has become the biggest trade partner, the biggest import source as well as the 3rd export market to India.
With an aim to help the Chinese companies to further develop their business in India and South Asia, the Ministry of Commerce, P.R.C will host the 4th India International Machinery & Equipment Exhibition from May 13 to 15 in 2010, with Trade Development Bureau of Ministry of Commerce, P.R.C and China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation as the organizers.
I. Exhibits Scope:
1. Machine tool, sheet metal fabrication machinery and accessories;
2. Plastics and rubber processing machines and accessories, packaging equipment machinery and systems;
3. Weaving machinery, equipment and accessories;
4. Construction machinery, engineering machinery, material and accessories, transport equipment and machinery;
5. Electrotechnics equipment and related system, accessories and auxiliary equipment.

¡ñThe standard booth includes: 3 pieces of boarding, carpet, fascia (in English), 1 desk table, 3 chairs, 3 spotlights, 1 electric connector receptacle, 1 dustbin.
¡ñThe raw space includes carpet, 1 desk table and 3 chairs per 9 m2. (The exhibitors will construct the booth by themselves and the height of the booth shall be no more than 5 meters.)
¢õ. Promotion and Publicity
Media publicity: all-round publicities and advertisements in professional newspapers and magazines as well as outdoor advertisings in India;
Industry-wide promotion: invitation letters sending to purchasers by industrial and commercial sections, chambers of commerce and industrial associations;
Direct invitation: publicity materials and invitation letters sending to purchasers and importers via email, fax and mailing etc.;
Online promotion: publicity and promotion on official Expo website in Chinese and English.
VI. Expo Services
1. Free invitation letters for visa application will be provided (2 persons per standard booth or per 9 m2); free exhibitor’s information logging in the Expo Directory, including company names in Chinese and English, exhibits information and contact information.
2. Expo Information Center will be launched for on-site services during the expo.
3. Recommendation for stand construction, freight forwarding, custom service and local tour service. As for any oversea freight forwarder agencies in use, the expo organizer shall be noticed in advance.
